Over more than ten years in real estate, I've learned that buying or selling a home is rarely just about the property. Most of the conversations are about how people want to live, the tradeoffs they're willing to make, and what they hope comes next.
I grew up outside Washington, DC and came to Los Angeles when a friend said he had room on the couch in his El Porto studio apartment. Almost 30 years later, I still haven't left. I live in Hermosa Beach with my wife — a third-generation Manhattan Beach native — and our three kids. Between raising a family and working throughout the South Bay, I have a practical understanding of how these neighborhoods actually function day to day.
Before real estate, I worked in Hollywood and later in aerospace. In both, I was handed concepts and expected to help turn them into something real. That approach — breaking complex problems into manageable steps — shapes how I work with clients today.
